How We Pack Your Dubia Roaches

Every order is hand-packed at our family-run Dubia roach farm using materials and techniques designed to protect live insects in transit. We don’t outsource or automate shipping — your order is handled by real people who care about the outcome.


Here’s how it works:

We currently ship live Dubia roaches across the continental U.S. with two available speeds:

Overnight Shipping


  • Best for extreme temps or time-sensitive orders

  • Arrives in 1 business day

  • Highest survivability rate

  • Recommended for orders over $75 or in high-heat/cold zones

We currently ship Dubia roaches to:


🟢 All continental U.S. states (excluding Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. territories)


🟡 Local laws may restrict live insect shipping in some areas — please check your state's regulations


📦 Orders ship Monday through Wednesday to avoid weekend postal delays.


Orders placed after Wednesday 11 AM (EST) will ship the following Monday.


We stand behind the quality of our bugs — and we mean it when we say “Alive on arrival” Dubia roaches are our standard.

If more than 10% of your order arrives dead, we will:


  • Issue a refund for the DOA portion OR
  • 📦 Send out a replacement (your choice)

All we ask is that you:

  • 📸 Send us a photo of the unopened package within 24 hours of delivery
  • Let us know the condition (i.e. # dead on arrival, heat/cold damage, etc.)

We’ll handle the rest — fast, respectfully, and with real customer support.


We do everything possible on our end, but here are a few factors that can impact survivability:

  • Temperatures below 35°F or above 95°F (overnight shipping highly recommended)
  • Delays due to USPS/UPS issues or holding
  • Leaving the package outdoors for hours after delivery

To reduce risk, we strongly recommend:

  • Shipping to a business address or local UPS Access Point
  • Choosing overnight shipping during heatwaves or freezes
  • 📩 Letting us know ahead of time if your location regularly experiences delays

What to Do If Bugs Arrive Dead

If your roaches don’t make it, don’t panic. Just follow these quick steps:

Take a clear photo of the roaches in the original shipping container (before unpacking)

Email us within 24 hours of delivery

Let us know your order number and how many arrived dead

We’ll reply quickly with a resolution — either a partial refund or free replacement roaches, based on your preference.
